Mary Napangati Tjutalpi

Mary Napangati was born circa 1953 north of Wilkinkurra (Lake Mackay) in north West Australia. In the past ten years she has started painting more, and these new paintings show her distintive voice.
This is her first major solo exhibition.
Tjutalpi is a rockhole soakage site where ancestral men and women gathererd to dance, gather food and make wooden digging sticks.
