Peter Maloney Fugitive Text

4 - 25 March

Celebrating the launch of his monograph Peter Maloney: Fugitive Text, this exhibition features his photomontage works from the early 1990s.  Using photographs of friends and models, as well as found photographs, these are layered with text from poets and writers Maloney admired.  Recent acqusitions of these works by the Art Gallery of NSW and National Gallery of Australia emphasise their timelessness and importance as a reminder of the devastating times of the AIDS epidemic.
