ARTIST STATEMENT

"Kirsteen Pieterse draws upon the precarious relationship between man and built environments in her work. Her sculptures resemble architectural models but, rather than celebrate the triumph of mans’ ingenuity over the natural world, they signify unease about man made constructions."  Kate Bryan
